The Edinburgh Ballroom Dancers Association
Like most city areas nowadays, Edinburgh lacks a large ballroom for Social Dance and Dancing. The Edinburgh Ballroom Dancers Association, and
the Afton Dance Club fills some of that void with Monday, Thursday and Saturday venues intended mainly for couples and partnerships.
On this page we list some other mixed Social Dancing sessions and Dance Clubs that we know about.
Monday
Gilmerton Bowling Club, Gilmerton, Edinburgh
1.30 p.m. till 3.30 p.m. Tea Dances, every second Monday. [Bar open]
Mixed programme of 50/50 Ballroom and Modern Sequence Dancing.
Recorded Music, usually Latin in Sequence Dancing section only.
