The Edinburgh Ballroom Dancers Association
Our main Ballroom Dancing and Latin dance venue is in Leith, Edinburgh, at the "Thomas Morton Hall", sometimes
also known as the Leith Town Hall. The location is easy to find, at 28 Ferry Road, the junction of Ferry Road and Great
Junction Street, however, when you get there, the hall is tucked away a wee bit behind the Library and Registrar's
office on Ferry Road.
Check out the details on a map here!
The hall is large, well decorated with a good hardwood floor, and is easy to dance on for both Latin Dance and Ballroom Dancing
styles. Capacity is about 200, depending on the type of function in place, and the hall is well used for different types of
dancing.
Each Thursday evening, our friends from the Afton Dance Club also use the hall as a Ballroom Dancing and Latin Dance venue with a similar format to our own.
You'll be very welcome to attend one of our sessions as a Ballroom Dancing couple or Latin Dance partnership! Costs are very
reasonable. You can come along as visitors for only £3.00 each per head, and if you decide this is for you, then we're
happy to welcome you into our membership. Couples and partners in membership pay a small annual fee and then a reduced rate
of £2.00 each per head for each session attended. You can get more details by phone from Mel and Ella on 0131 620 4505, or just come along
any Monday evening and enjoy our presentation.
